Gardens Stay Suncheon Swillange 'Swill-Space' Operation

Various Performances Including Autumn Romantic Sentiment Concert Held

The Suncheon Bay International Garden Expo Organizing Committee (Chairman: Suncheon Mayor Noh Kwan-gyu, hereinafter referred to as the Organizing Committee) announced that during the most radiant autumn month of September, it will operate the ‘Shwil-Space’ program at the Garden Stay Suncheon Shillangge Circular Plaza in Suncheonman National Garden.

‘Shwil-Space’ is an expanded version of the ‘Shwil-Stage’ Shillangge performance program, which was previously held only on Fridays, Saturdays, and public holidays (21:00~21:30). It aims to provide overnight guests with various cultural and artistic performances every night, including weekdays, and to offer performers (teams) a special experience and opportunity to showcase their creative activities and works on the stage of Suncheonman National Garden.

From the 9th to the 20th, a nationwide open call selected a total of 10 teams from diverse fields such as vocal music, instruments, and acoustic music. These performances will offer guests the emotions and romance of autumn nights every day in September, and the performers (teams) will receive Garden Stay accommodation vouchers.

An official from the Organizing Committee said, “We hope everyone enjoys the romance that Shillangge offers every night in September, welcoming autumn through ‘Shwil-Space,’ and that participating performers find inspiration for their creative activities while staying at Suncheonman National Garden.”

Meanwhile, Garden Stay Suncheon Shillangge, a lodging program enjoyed within the garden and one of the core contents of the expo, has received great interest and positive responses from visitors. Throughout September, a special program called ‘Take a Shot at Shillangge’ will be operated for all overnight guests, providing commemorative photo shooting and printing services to capture a memorable moment in the beautiful garden.

Additionally, from mid-September, Suncheonman National Garden plans to plant 260,000 chrysanthemums with different themes in areas including Sunset Garden, Narsha Garden, Netherlands Garden, and Ocheon Green Plaza, coloring the garden with ‘Millions of Chrysanthemums’ to offer abundant sights for visitors and returning travelers during the Chuseok holiday.
