Quiz·Comics Fun Finance... BNK Busan Bank Creates Customized Financial Education Textbooks for Elementary Students
BNK Busan Bank produced a customized financial education textbook titled ‘BNK Busan Bank Financial Classroom’ on the 31st, targeting upper-grade elementary school students.
The textbook is designed as a workbook to encourage student participation and is composed of four volumes, each covering one of the following topics: ▲reasonable consumption habits ▲saving and investing ▲what banks do ▲prevention of financial fraud among youth.
In particular, it includes engaging content such as quizzes and comics featuring characters to help students learn about finance more easily and enjoyably.
Busan Bank plans to distribute the textbook to all elementary schools in the Busan area and use it for on-site elementary school education and financial education for underprivileged groups.
Park Young-jun, Chief Consumer Protection Officer (CCO) at Busan Bank, said, “We hope that young students will grow into responsible members of society with proper financial habits through the BNK Busan Bank Financial Classroom textbook,” adding, “Busan Bank will continue to strive to improve financial literacy among youth.”
