A Man in His 40s Caught Sleeping in University Library with Found Student ID Card
A man in his 40s who was homeless, going back and forth to the library using a found student ID, was caught by the police following a student's report.
The Gwangju Bukbu Police Station announced on the 31st that they had booked a man in his 40s, Mr. A, on charges of unauthorized entry into a university library (embezzlement of lost property and trespassing).
Mr. A is suspected of unlawfully accessing the library at Chonnam National University in Buk-gu, Gwangju, using a found student ID since April.
According to the police investigation, Mr. A, who has no fixed job or residence, was found to have been homeless, going back and forth to the library near the Chonnam National University dormitory using the found student ID.
Mr. A was caught on the spot by the police on the 24th after a report was made that "a suspicious man was watching obscene videos in the library."
