Changwon Fire Headquarters Hosts Changwon Special City Youth 119 Safety News Contest
Samgye Middle School and Gyeongnam Tourism High School Participate as Representatives of Changwon
The Changwon Fire Headquarters in Gyeongnam held the 2023 Changwon City Youth 119 Safety News Contest in the main conference room on the 29th.
On this day, the competition conducted video evaluations targeting middle and high school students, and the students of Samgye Middle School won the grand prize with a video on the theme of "Emergency Treatment for Burns Most Commonly Occurring at Home."
Additionally, students from Gyeongnam Tourism High School won the excellence award with a video titled "Dangerous! Smartphone Pedestrian Accident Cases and Prevention Measures Learned Through the News."
This year, two teams will participate, competing against 38 teams from 19 cities and provinces nationwide.
The Youth 119 Safety News Contest is held annually nationwide under the supervision of the National Fire Agency, where youth discover safety ideas in daily life and present solutions to problems through video evaluations.
