CJ CheilJedang Unveils Four New Bibigo Frozen Soup Products
Yangji Yukgaejang, Meat Sundaeguk, Boneless Gamjatang, Spam Sagol Budae Jjigae
Composed of Menus Highly Preferred by Consumers in Dining Out
CJ CheilJedang announced on the 29th that it will launch four new frozen soup dishes that deliver restaurant-level taste and quality.
The new products consist of popular menu items favored by consumers in dining out, including 'Yangji Yukgaejang' (Brisket Spicy Soup), 'Gogi Sundaeguk' (Meat Blood Sausage Soup), 'Sunsal Gamjatang' (Boneless Pork Bone Soup), and 'Spam Sagol Budae Jjigae' (Spam Bone Army Stew). They were developed based on the advice of renowned CJ Club Nine Bridges Executive Chef Kim Byungpil, using carefully selected ingredients and umami secrets.
Bibigo Yangji Yukgaejang features tenderly cooked brisket shredded along the grain and filled generously, with taro stems, green onions, and oyster mushrooms added to provide a rich texture.
Bibigo Gogi Sundaeguk is packed with hearty Pyongyang-style meat blood sausage and chewy head meat without any off-flavors. It uses a milky and rich pork bone broth, enhanced by an 8-hour simmered bone stock and flavored with perilla seed powder for a nutty taste.
Bibigo Sunsal Gamjatang contains easy-to-eat boneless meat, soft Yanggu dried radish greens, and domestically grown potatoes. The broth is made by simmering pork bones, green onions, whole garlic, and pepper, then enriched with a secret seasoning and perilla seed powder to create a deep soup flavor.
Bibigo Spam Sagol Budae Jjigae includes Spam, frank sausages, bacon, and plenty of vegetables such as green onions and kimchi. Finely chopped pork is added to enhance umami, while aged kimchi and baked beans contribute to a deep and refreshing taste.
To celebrate the launch, CJ The Market, the official online store, will hold a special event from the 31st of this month to the 10th of next month. Customers who write product reviews will be entered into a draw to win prizes such as travel gift certificates.
