Inbaeng 3 Companies to Supply 3 Trillion KRW in Credit Loans to Medium and Low Credit Borrowers in the First Half of the Year
The three internet-only banks (KakaoBank, K Bank, and Toss Bank) supplied approximately 3 trillion KRW in new credit loans to middle- and low-credit borrowers in the first half of this year.
According to the financial sector on the 25th, the three internet-only banks supplied a total of 3.0551 trillion KRW to middle- and low-credit borrowers in the first half of this year. Middle- and low-credit borrowers refer to borrowers in the lower 50% of credit scores.
KakaoBank supplied 1.7503 trillion KRW, an increase of 31% compared to the previous year. This is the largest amount on a half-year basis ever recorded. In addition, Toss Bank supplied 840.8 billion KRW, and K Bank supplied 464 billion KRW in new loans.
