Able Corporation's style commerce platform Ablee announced on the 25th that its '4th generation shopping malls' have recorded a repurchase rate of 60%.
The 4th generation shopping malls refer to those that have grown through platform-based '4th generation fashion commerce.' Beyond ▲1st generation internet shopping malls based on websites (self-operated malls) ▲2nd generation open markets selling products by entering comprehensive malls ▲3rd generation influencer markets based on social networking services (SNS) such as blogs and Instagram, the 4th generation fashion platform based on applications (apps) with recommendation algorithms has established itself as the main axis of the fashion commerce ecosystem.
Analyzing sales data of the top 15 4th generation shopping malls within the Ablee platform from January to July this year, Ablee found that 3 out of 5 customers who purchased products from 4th generation shopping malls returned to buy products from Ablee again. From emerging shopping malls such as 'Anymore,' 'Wonderwonder,' 'Binaryone,' 'Young&Rich,' and 'Acubi Club' to those that started as company malls like 'Rozley' and 'Frenchof' and settled on the platform, the company stated that 4th generation shopping malls are rapidly securing loyal customers through Ablee.
Ablee cited its self-developed artificial intelligence (AI) personalized recommendation technology as the driving force behind its achievements, a first in the industry. Ablee connects users to products that match their tastes based on big data including 1.2 billion product preference data points, 50 million reviews, and purchase histories, regardless of market size or business longevity. Even newly entered or small-scale shopping malls can relatively easily secure loyal customers and grow through the recommendation technology.
