Upbit Adds 'Lab' to Try New Features First... Debuts 'View Investment Profit and Loss'
Domestic virtual asset exchange Upbit announced on the 23rd that it has added a 'Laboratory' feature to verify users and usability before officially launching new functions.
The Laboratory is a service that allows users to experience new features to be installed on Upbit in advance. It is supported on PC web, mobile web, and application (app) environments. After logging into Upbit, users can activate the feature through the More tab or My tab located at the bottom right of the screen.
The first feature introduced through the Laboratory is viewing investment profit and loss. Upbit users can check the cumulative rate of return and average investment amount for the desired period at a glance through this feature. Viewing investment profit and loss is the most requested feature by Upbit users and supports three types of returns (simple return, time-weighted return, and money-weighted return).
The simple return calculates and provides the actual profit or loss based on the user's initial investment amount. The time-weighted return represents the profit or loss weighted by time against the average balance during a specific period, while the money-weighted return differs from the time-weighted return by reflecting changes in the amount.
