A woman in her 40s living in Chicago, USA, was arrested and charged for threatening to kill former U.S. President Donald Trump and his youngest son Barron (17).
On the 21st (local time), according to the British daily The Guardian and others, federal prosecutors arrested Tracy Marie Fiorenza (41), who resides in Plainfield, a suburb of Chicago, on charges of sending threatening messages.
Fiorenza is accused of sending an email in May to the principal of a private school in Florida, where Barron is reportedly enrolled, stating, "Whenever I get the chance, I will shoot Trump and his son Barron in the face." It is understood that in June, she also sent an email to the principal saying, "I will shoot Barron Trump and his father in the head in self-defense."

In response, the United States Secret Service (USSS), which is responsible for protecting former presidents, visited Fiorenza's home in June, and Fiorenza confessed to writing and sending the emails.
Local media reported, based on information from Fiorenza's social media accounts, that she has worked as a social studies teacher at a school under the Chicago Public Schools (CPS). She also posted several anti-Trump related posts on her social media accounts. The posts reportedly included claims that Barron was admitted to the school with fake test scores.
Fiorenza is scheduled to appear at the Chicago federal court on the 23rd and is expected to be transferred to Florida soon, where the charges were filed. If convicted, Fiorenza could face up to five years in prison or a fine of $250,000 (approximately 340 million KRW).
