Imsil-gun Accelerates Promotion of Imsil N Cheese Festival through TV Commercials and More

Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, announced on the 21st that the 2023 ImsilN Cheese Festival, its representative festival, is just over 50 days away, and it is stepping up efforts to promote the festival.

To promote the 2023 ImsilN Cheese Festival, the county has been pushing festival promotions through various media such as radio ads starting in July, SNS, TV commercials, and print ads, and plans to carry out on-site promotional activities directly targeting tourists in major cities.

From the 17th to the 19th, the county took the opportunity to widely promote the ImsilN Cheese Festival to tourists by actively promoting it through an SNS subscription event at the Gamac Festival held in Jeonju, using various souvenirs and festival leaflets.

At this year’s ImsilN Cheese Festival, a program called “Cheese Festival with the Armed Forces” will be operated to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the relocation of the 35th Division, featuring a 50kg large aged cheese experience event.

In particular, in connection with the Belgian Embassy, a waffle sharing event and a meeting time with the family of Father Jijeonghwan will be held, also operating a Belgium Day, the homeland of the late Father Jijeonghwan.

Along with promoting the nation’s only cheese festival featuring ten million chrysanthemum flowers and delicious cheese, focused promotion was carried out to attract many tourists by linking with major tourist attractions such as Okjeongho Suspension Bridge and Seongsusan Mountain to leap toward ten million tourists.

County Governor Shim Min said, “The ImsilN Cheese Festival, held for four days from October 6 to 9 at Imsil Cheese Theme Park, Imsil Cheese Village, and the Imsil-eup area, is being prepared as a differentiated and attractive festival program full of unique sights, fun, and experiences.”

He added, “We will also do our best to provide various conveniences to offer visitors a comfortable resting place so they can enjoy the festival comfortably.”
