"The 'Lee Chan-won Effect'... Kyowon Wells Ice Water Purifier Gains Popularity"
Sales Volume Up 49% Compared to Last Year
Kyowon Wells announced on the 21st that sales of the 'Wells Ice Water Purifier UV Plus (UV+)' from January to July this year increased by 49% compared to the same period last year. In just seven months, it achieved 85% of last year's total sales volume.
The main factor behind the rise in sales performance of this product is attributed to the 'Lee Chan-won Effect.' In fact, from April to July, when Kyowon Wells appointed singer Lee Chan-won as the model, sales increased by 27% compared to the same period last year. The new advertising campaign video featuring Lee Chan-won, titled 'Good, Different, Trust and Use, Use Wells,' surpassed 10 million views on YouTube within about 100 days after its release on April 5.
This product applies a ‘micro-vibration ice-making system’ that removes bubbles through 60 micro-vibrations per minute to create hard ice that melts slowly. The ice size can be selected according to usage and preference, and it can produce up to 500 ice cubes daily, allowing ample use even in summer.
