At a middle school in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, a student caused a commotion by entering the teachers' office wielding a weapon. After receiving the report, the police who arrived on the scene took safety measures.
According to the Bundang Police Station in Gyeonggi, at 2:27 p.m. on the 18th, a 112 emergency call was received from a staff member reporting that a student, identified as A, entered the teachers' office at a middle school in Bundang-gu carrying a weapon.
It was reported that Student A made statements indicating an intention to self-harm while holding the weapon inside the teachers' office. However, it was confirmed that A did not actually harm himself or brandish the weapon toward other teachers.
The police, who responded to the report, calmed Student A and persuaded him to put down the weapon before handing him over to other teachers. There were no injuries or threats to anyone involved, so the police decided not to take any formal legal action against Student A.
