Silla University Graduate School of Social Welfare Alumni Donate Special Scholarships for Undergraduates
The Graduate School of Social Welfare at Silla University donated a special scholarship fund for undergraduate students.
At the late-term degree conferment ceremony held on the 17th in the large auditorium on the 4th floor of the Future Aviation Convergence Hall at Silla University, the 25th graduates of the Graduate School of Social Welfare?Jeong Gap-sun, Jeong Min-a, Kang Mi-young, Seo Kyung-eun, and Noh Seok-sun?donated a special scholarship to encourage the academic pursuits of undergraduate students.
The graduates who donated the scholarship fund worked as social workers while pursuing their studies, learning professional knowledge and the latest theories through classes, domestic and international field training, academic conferences, and specialized study groups.

She added, “Although the amount is small, we hope it will contribute to the love, courage, and warm capabilities of prospective social workers who help socially vulnerable groups with professional skills.”
Cho Eui-su, the head professor of the Graduate School of Social Welfare at Silla University, stated, “We will uphold the tradition of the Department of Social Welfare by hosting domestic and international academic conferences, providing overseas social welfare professional training, and researching transitional social welfare issues and policy tasks, thereby developing not only as a specialized social welfare education institution but also as a department and graduate school that contributes to the local community.”
