Suspected Violation of the Lottery Fund Act
The police are investigating an incident in which 200,000 tickets were recalled due to some errors in the instant print lottery Spitto1000, 58th draw.
On the afternoon of the 16th, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul summoned Cho Hyung-seop, co-CEO of Donghaeng Lottery, and Kim Se-jung, former co-CEO of Donghaeng Lottery, for questioning as suspects.
Earlier, in September 2021, an issue occurred where six Spitto1000 lottery tickets were marked as winning, but the sales system showed them as non-winning.

Following instructions from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Donghaeng Lottery identified and recalled 200,000 problematic tickets. In June, co-CEO Cho and others were reported on charges of violating the Lottery and Lottery Fund Act.
