Wemade to Serve as Main Sponsor of G-Star for Second Consecutive Year
Wemade will participate as the main sponsor in the international game exhibition 'G-STAR 2023,' which opens on November 16.
On the 16th, Jang Hyun-guk, CEO of Wemade, said, "We decided to participate as the main sponsor for the second consecutive year to actively promote the current status of the rapidly growing global blockchain game market in Korea as well," adding, "Through this G-STAR, Wemade, a blockchain pioneer, will open a new chapter in the domestic game market."
Wemade will showcase new titles to be released globally through its blockchain game platform WEMIX PLAY in the Business-to-Consumer (B2C) zone. In the large exhibition space prepared with 200 booths, visitors can experience the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Legend of YMIR,' developed by Wemade XR, and the baseball game 'Round One Baseball (R1B, tentative title)' by Round One Studio.

Wemade will also participate in the Business-to-Business (B2B) zone (30 booths) to discuss cooperation plans with domestic and international game and blockchain partners. Various outdoor side events are being prepared to let attendees enjoy the festive atmosphere throughout Busan. CEO Jang plans to deliver the opening keynote at 'G-CON 2023,' unveiling the vision for the blockchain game market.
