Construction in Chungbuk Cheongju Following Capital Area, Jeju, and Busan
Chargers Applied at More Than Half Reduced Price Compared to Market
Coupang announced on the 16th that it has completed the construction of an electric vehicle integrated delivery center at Cheongju 1 Camp in Chungbuk, following the metropolitan area, Jeju, and Busan regions, to create an eco-friendly delivery ecosystem.

Jeju 3 Camp, which Coupang opened in 2021, is the first electric vehicle integrated delivery center in Korea to introduce a ceiling-type medium-speed charging system optimized for distribution logistics environments such as electric cargo vehicle movement routes and charging efficiency. Before and after delivery tasks, Coupang friends can tag their cards on the terminal to connect the ceiling-mounted charger to the vehicle, enabling charging 24/7, 365 days a year.
Coupang plans to expand the electric vehicle integrated delivery centers nationwide. To this end, it will build an eco-friendly delivery infrastructure environment where charging and loading are possible simultaneously at the electric vehicle integrated delivery centers. At Cheongju 1 Camp, considering the complexity of the logistics environment, chargers half the size of commercial chargers were applied. In particular, at Busan and Cheongju 1 Camps, shared chargers were established so that not only Coupang friends but also external delivery drivers (Quickflexers) using electric cargo vehicles can use them, expanding the base of charging infrastructure users.
