Convenience store CU announced on the 16th that it will reduce the price of its private brand (PB) product get Iced Americano (XL) by 10% starting next month.

CU's private brand (PB) instant coffee 'get Coffee' has maintained double-digit growth over the past three years. According to CU, the sales growth rates for the past three years were ▲ 20.4% in 2021 ▲ 24.8% in 2022 ▲ 21.8% from January to July 2023.

The company stated, "While major coffee specialty stores are raising coffee prices citing increases in coffee bean and raw milk costs, CU's strategy of applying a 500 won time sale and payment partnership discounts has been effective." The company added that get Iced Americano's sales last month increased by an astonishing 120.3% compared to the same period last year, thanks to various discount events.
