Historical and Cultural Learning Journey with Gurye-gun and Seoul City

Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 11th that it will participate in the Gurye-gun-Seoul Youth History and Culture Exchange Program C.P.A (Culture, Politics, Art) Camp from the 16th to the 19th.

The Gurye-gun-Seoul history and culture exchange program is a project promoted through a business agreement between Gurye-gun and Seoul Metropolitan City. Through this project, youths from both regions visit each other's areas to experience the history and culture of each region, thereby broadening their perspectives on diverse cultures and traditions.

In this exchange, about 20 youths from Gurye-gun, invited by Seoul, will experience Seoul's politics, arts, education, and history.

On August 1st, Gurye-gun invited Seoul youths and conducted the '2023 Road to Nature' program over a 3-night, 4-day schedule.

Seoul youths participated in activities such as rafting on the Seomjin River, Jirisan Sky Run, and camping.

A county official said, "For youths to fully demonstrate their creative abilities, it is necessary to experience the world more broadly from an early age," adding, "Through this exchange, we hope that Gurye youths will embrace the world with a broader perspective and lead lives full of challenge and passion."
