At Mugunghwa Art Hall... Appreciation Plaque Presentation on the 14th
Jeonbuk Provincial Police Agency (Chief Kang Hwang-su) announced on the 14th that it presented a certificate of appreciation to artist Park Ok-tae, who is exhibiting works from the 7th to the 1st of next month at the Mugunghwa Art Hall of the Jeonbuk Police Agency to enhance cultural and artistic services in the local community.

Park Ok-tae, the invited artist this time, graduated from Gunsan University’s Department of Ceramics and has won several awards, including the Minister of Culture Award at the National Tourism Product Exhibition (2007), Honorable Mention at the Jeonbuk Craft Exhibition (2010), and an award at the Jeonbuk Craft Exhibition (2023).
Park currently serves as a director of the Gochang County Cultural Tourism Foundation, a director of the Gochang Arts Association, a director of the Jeonbuk Art Association, and the head of the Yeon-gi Ceramics Experience Learning Center.
Living as a local artist in his hometown of Gochang, Park creates works that comfortably approach viewers by appropriately and harmoniously expressing tradition and modernity based on old ceramics fired in Gochang.
