One Male Amsa Lion Escapes from Goryeong-gun Tourist Farm... "Call 119 if Found"

View original imageAt around 7:30 a.m. on the 14th, a female lion escaped from its enclosure at a tourist farm in Goryeong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province.
Goryeong-gun and nearby Seongju-gun informed residents through emergency safety text messages, urging caution and initiating a capture operation.
Seongju-gun, via disaster text messages, stated, "A female lion escape incident occurred in Deokgok-myeon, Goryeong-gun," and requested nearby residents to be vigilant and report any sightings to 119.
Police and fire authorities have been dispatched to the area near the scene to search for the lion.
