29CM Operates Men's Fashion Popup 'Men's Formula' at Igusungsoo Station
Operation divided into 1st and 2nd exhibitions until October 8
On-site meetings and purchase support for 470 products from 23 brands
Musinsa's online edit shop 29CM announced on the 14th that it will hold a men's fashion pop-up exhibition at 'Iguseongsu (29CM SEONGSU)' located in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, for two months until October 8. This is the first time 29CM is opening a pop-up store with men's fashion as the theme.
The theme of this pop-up store is set as 'THE MEN'S FORMULA.' It carries the meaning of completing the desired look through an arithmetic process of adding and subtracting personal fashion items, like a mathematical formula.
The store will operate in two phases: from August 12 to September 10, and from September 15 to October 8. The exhibition concepts are set differently for each phase as 'Heritage & Classic' and 'Contemporary.' During this period, customers visiting Iguseongsu can try on and purchase 470 products from 23 brands curated by 29CM in the men's fashion and lifestyle fields.
During the first exhibition phase, 'Heritage & Classic,' 16 men's fashion and lifestyle brands with timeless, unwavering style and elegance will be introduced. These brands were carefully selected based on those consistently featured in the men's fashion content 'Men's Point Lesson,' which 29CM has been releasing since April in collaboration with the YouTube channel 'Footage Brothers.'
For this exhibition, the first-floor showroom was designed with an office atmosphere reminiscent of a workspace. Visitors can find about 180 popular products from brands such as Demil, Roughside, Rinects, Boogie Holiday, Eastlogue, Eastlogue Permanent, and Pottery. The second-floor showroom is composed of nine popular high-end brands operated by the well-known domestic edit shop 'FR8IGHT,' headquartered in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu.
An O4O (Online For Offline) on-site event is also being operated, which can be participated in through the 29CM application. Customers can access the 29CM app event page via a QR image placed in the store and click 'LIKE' on the participating exhibition brands to join. Participants will be entered into a draw to receive one of the following gifts: Men's Formula goods, a Manufact coffee exchange coupon, or a 15% discount coupon exclusive to the 29CM app.
Additionally, from August 18 to September 3, a 'Weekend Sale' event will be held every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Anyone who has issued a ticket through the 29CM app can enter and purchase sample and clearance products at discounts of up to 80%.
Shopping benefits exclusive to the offline pop-up store are also prepared. Customers who purchase more than 100,000 KRW worth of Pottery or Rinects products will receive gifts on a first-come, first-served basis. Demil, a men's fashion brand whose name means 'demilitarization,' will also hold an on-site repair event for two days from August 25 to 26.
The second exhibition, starting from September 15, will focus mainly on domestic and international contemporary brands such as Descente Allterrain, Loa, Rootfinder, Salomon, Unaffected, Kale, and Hatching Room.
Nam Hyunsoo, head of the 29CM Space Experience team, said, "We planned this exhibition targeting men aged 25 to 39, who are 29CM's main customers with their own unique tastes," adding, "We plan to expand branding and sales activities linking online and offline so that customers can continue to experience men's fashion brands proposed by 29CM."
