Gyeonggi Office of Education to Receive Public Proposals for Reducing School Workload
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will accept proposals from the public and government officials from the 14th to the 23rd of this month to reduce and streamline school administrative tasks.
The open call theme is "Ideas for Reducing and Streamlining School Administrative Tasks from the Field," and anyone from the public or affiliated with the Office of Education can participate.
Applicants can visit the proposal board on the 국민신문고 (People's Petition) website, select "2023 Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Open Proposal Call," and submit original and feasible ideas to reduce school administrative tasks.
Outstanding proposers will receive prizes and commendations according to their ranking. Additionally, the proposals will be partially revised and supplemented before being incorporated into the Office of Education's policies.

Lee Un-jae, the School Administrative Improvement Officer at the Office of Education, stated, "We continue discussions within and outside the educational community to reduce school administrative tasks," adding, "We hope that various ideas to reduce school work will be proposed through this open call."
