Flood Advisory Issued at Gye-nae-ri Point on Nakdong River Due to Typhoon 'Khanun'
Warning Level Reached Around 10:30 PM
The Nakdong River Flood Control Office issued a flood advisory at 9:10 PM on the 10th for the Gyeonaeri area in Haman-gun, Gyeongnam along the Nakdong River.
The current water level at this point is 6.76 meters. The office expects the water level to reach the advisory level (7 meters) around 10:30 PM.
They urged residents in the Haman and Changnyeong areas along the Nakdong River to stay alert to the flood situation.
An official from the control office stated, "Due to the rain over the Nakdong River, the water level at the Haman-gun point continues to rise and is expected to exceed the advisory level around 10:30 PM. Nearby residents should check the flood situation through broadcasts and refrain from using riverside areas."
