Masan Fire Station Implements Safety Measures in Areas Affected by Typhoon 'Khanun'
On the 10th, Masan Fire Station in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, conducted safety measures in the affected areas due to the impact of Typhoon Khanun, the 6th typhoon of the season.
In response to the northward movement of the typhoon, the fire station activated emergency duty from 9 PM on the 9th, strengthening disaster response readiness by adding additional dispatch teams.
Key firefighting activities included ▲rescuing a stranded person during a walk along Gwangryeocheon at Naeseo 119 Safety Center ▲rescuing a person in a low-lying area near Bongam Reservoir by the rescue team ▲handling a landslide on National Road 1338 in Gamcheon-ri, Naeseo-eup ▲drainage work at 10 locations including Jindong Market ▲completing vehicle control and drainage work at 8 locations including the underground passage at the Samgeori intersection near Seongwoo Hyundai Apartment.
