Yoon Young-chan, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, commented on reports that "former President Moon Jae-in summoned opposition party lawmakers from the Blue House," saying, "It is an intention to drag former President Moon into the current political arena by any means."
Yoon, who previously served as the Blue House Senior Secretary for Public Communication under the Moon Jae-in administration, stated in an interview on SBS Radio's 'Kim Tae-hyun's Political Show' on the 10th, "I cannot understand reports that fabricate baseless stories to create misunderstandings as if something is happening."

View original imageEarlier, a media outlet reported that former President Moon plans to call Democratic Party lawmakers from the Blue House to his private residence in Yangsan, Gyeongnam, on the 25th to discuss measures regarding public sentiment in the Seoul metropolitan area ahead of the general election.
Regarding this, Yoon said, "He is living as a private citizen, and this is an interpretation by forces wanting to attack former President Moon more for engaging in politics in reality," dismissing the article as "complete fiction." He added, "There is no reason to have such conversations with the President, and I cannot understand the necessity of having such discussions at this point in time."

Yoon also stated that he will not attend the dinner on the 25th.
