Paratech Launches Two New Fire Valves Certified by Government Agencies... "Accelerating Fire Market Expansion"
Firefighting specialist company Paratech announced on the 10th that it has launched two new firefighting valve products, the ‘A-3 Alarm Valve’ and the ‘Non-interlock Valve,’ which were approved last month by the Korea Fire Industry Technology Institute. Paratech has completed the mass production verification process for the A-3 Alarm Valve and plans to commercialize it by the end of September.
Paratech has developed the Non-interlock Valve, capable of rapid fire response, for the first time in Korea. The Non-interlock Valve has the advantage of quickly suppressing fires by opening the water control valve when a fire detector or sprinkler is activated. Additionally, it is equipped with a Pressure-Operated Relief Valve (PORV), which enhances reliability by maintaining the clapper of the water control valve in an open state, thereby ensuring operational stability.
Along with this, Paratech succeeded in developing the A-3 Alarm Valve, which improves on the shortcomings of the existing A-2 Alarm Valve. Paratech redesigned the internal clapper structure to create the A-3 Alarm Valve, improving the operational reliability of the alarm switch. Furthermore, the company explained that the weight has been reduced by up to 30% and the size decreased by about 10mm, maximizing installation convenience for customers while also increasing production efficiency.
A Paratech representative stated, “The newly developed firefighting valve products minimize malfunctions by improving on the shortcomings of our existing A-2 Alarm Valve and pre-action valve, while maximizing fire response capabilities through the addition of new functions. We have enhanced installation convenience by reducing weight and size, and these products will be applicable in various fields.”
He added, “Paratech continues to release certified firefighting products to expand market share. In addition, we are currently discussing further cooperation with global firefighting specialist companies to expand new overseas orders.”
Recently, Paratech participated in the ‘2023 NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Conference & Expo’ held in Las Vegas, USA, where it signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with well-known local firefighting companies ‘ABFP (American Backflow & Fire Prevention)’ and ‘AFSS (Alliance Fire Safety Specialists)’ to expand business scope. Based on its overseas sales network, Paratech is promoting the expansion of exports to North America, Central and South America, and other overseas markets.
