Environmental Specialist Company 'Cheongsu' CEO Kim Sang-sik Donates 50 Million KRW Development Fund to Yeungnam University
Kim Sang-sik, CEO of Cheongsu Co., Ltd., donated 50 million KRW to Yeungnam University as a development fund.
On the 8th, CEO Kim Sang-sik met with Yeungnam University President Choi Oechul and expressed his intention to contribute 50 million KRW to support the university's development. CEO Kim Sang-sik is an alumnus entrepreneur who graduated from the master's program in Environmental Engineering at Yeungnam University's Graduate School of Environment.
From 2012 to 2014, he served as the president of the alumni association of the Environmental Engineering Department at Yeungnam University Graduate School of Environment, contributing to the development of the alumni association and the unity of alumni. The donated development fund will be used for the advancement of the Environmental Engineering Department.

Recently, I have received much support from Professor Jeong Jin-young of the Environmental Engineering Department, and I wanted to give back to my alma mater, even if only in a small way."
Kim said, "I am actually grateful for the opportunity to share the economic benefits gained through my business. I will continue to engage in activities that contribute socially as a businessperson."

CEO Kim Sang-sik has also taken the lead in social contribution activities beyond donating the development fund to Yeungnam University. He has carried out various welfare enhancement activities for socially vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities, receiving awards including the Gyeongsangbuk-do Governor's Commendation, Daegu Mayor's Commendation in 2020, and the Minister of Health and Welfare Commendation in 2022.
