Suwon City Imposes 5.8 Billion KRW in Individual Resident Tax for August
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province imposed a personal resident tax of 5.8 billion KRW (464,304 cases) in August this year.
The payment targets are individuals registered as residents in Suwon as of July 1. The payment deadline for the resident tax is from the 16th to the 31st of this month.
Payments can be made through Wetax (www.wetax.go.kr) or Giro (www.giro.or.kr). Additionally, payments are accepted via simple payment apps (KakaoPay, Naver, Payco), bank ATMs (CD/ATM), credit cards, virtual accounts, local tax revenue account payments, and ARS (1899-7500).
Meanwhile, the types of resident tax, which previously included five categories?equal share (individual, business, corporation), property share, and employee share?have been reorganized into three categories: personal share, business place share, and employee share.
