Police Track Author of 'Daegu Airport Bomb Terror Threat'
As posts imitating ‘weapon rampage’ spread like a trend, an online post threatening a ‘bomb terror’ targeting crowded airports during the holiday season has emerged, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
According to the Daegu Metropolitan Police Agency on the 7th, at around 11:16 PM on the 6th, a post predicting a ‘bomb terror at Daegu Airport’ was uploaded on an online site. The post reportedly stated, ‘The bomb installation is complete, and on the afternoon of the 9th, I will drive in by car and wield a weapon.’
Upon receiving the report, the police immediately dispatched the bomb disposal team and began a joint search operation with the Daegu Airport search team.

The police, military, and National Intelligence Service jointly analyzed the situation and concluded that there was no possibility of a terror attack. However, the Cyber Crime Investigation Unit of the Daegu Metropolitan Police Agency has requested the deletion of the related post and is tracking the poster.
