Kakao, Recruiting Business Partners for 'KakaoTalk Reservation'
Free Reservation Feature Provided
Fees Charged When Linked to Payment
Kakao announced on the 7th that it will expand and open the 'KakaoTalk Booking' service, which allows users to discover various reservation products based on KakaoTalk channels and make reservations easily and quickly. Business partners operating KakaoTalk channels can introduce reservation and payment functions to their channels. The booking function can be used for free, and only a minimal payment fee is charged when linking the product payment function.
Launched in March, KakaoTalk Booking is a service that allows users to access various products that can be reserved within KakaoTalk. Users can make reservations, payments, check and share reservation information, and share with friends all through KakaoTalk. Businesses can send messages to users who have added their KakaoTalk channel to provide discount coupons or product-related news. From reservation management to promotion and marketing, easy customer management is possible within KakaoTalk.
Kakao is starting direct registration applications so that more business partners and users can utilize KakaoTalk Booking. By entering business information and registering locations and products at the 'KakaoTalk Booking Partner Center,' businesses can use the booking service after internal review and approval.
To provide more users with reservation experiences across various industries and products, the official home screen of 'KakaoTalk Booking' has also been revamped. Features to search for products from partner companies available for reservation and to find nearby places where reservations can be made have been added.
