Companies Invited to Promote ESG Management in Gangnam
Gangnam-gu Leads Public-Private Partnership ESG Projects!
Recruiting Companies, Organizations, and Corporations to Participate in the ‘1st ESG Drawing the Future, Together with Gangnam’ Contest until the 31st of This Month
Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jo Seongmyeong) is launching the ‘1st ESG Drawing the Future, Together with Gangnam’ contest project to discover corporations, companies, and organizations committed to practicing ESG management and support various activities.
Having collaborated with numerous companies on various projects, the district has recently focused on the fact that many companies require public-private partnerships to implement ESG management effectively, especially with the ESG disclosure mandate approaching.
Gangnam-gu proactively planned this contest project to lead public-private cooperation and discover creative ESG business models.
Any corporation, company, or organization willing to practice ESG management can participate regardless of location, and joint participation by multiple companies is also allowed. The contest themes cover ESG business areas where public and private sectors can collaborate, including Environment (resource circulation, climate change, energy saving), Social (safety, welfare, education, culture), and Governance (democratic decision-making, transparent management).
Selected projects will receive various administrative supports such as site provision and coordination with related institutions, along with joint promotion and marketing. A subsidy of up to 10 million KRW per project will be provided, but participation is also possible without subsidy support depending on the company’s circumstances.
Companies wishing to collaborate with Gangnam-gu can download the application form from the Gangnam-gu Office website, complete it, and submit it via email along with the required attachments. The application deadline is the 31st of this month. After reviewing feasibility and effectiveness, results will be announced on the Gangnam-gu Office website in September. For more details, please refer to the announcement on the district office website.
