A Man Armed with a Weapon Arrested at Seoul Express Bus Terminal... No Signs of Threat Detected
A man in his 20s carrying a weapon and wandering around Seoul Express Bus Terminal was apprehended by the police.
According to the police, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul arrested Mr. A on suspicion of special intimidation at a commercial area on the first floor of the Gyeongbu Line building in Seoul Express Bus Terminal at around 10:45 a.m. on the 4th and is currently investigating him. The police responded to a security guard's report at 10:39 a.m. that "a man with a knife is wandering around the terminal" and secured the suspect. Two weapons found in Mr. A's bag were also confiscated.
The police stated that after analyzing the closed-circuit television (CCTV), they confirmed that Mr. A pointed the weapon at his own neck, but there was no evidence of threatening others.
