Toss Bank Launches Couple Account Service
Existing Group Account Benefits Remain Unchanged
Toss Bank announced on the 3rd that it has launched a ‘Couple Account Service’ that can be used by couples or spouses together.
The Couple Account Service is planned to be added to the existing ‘Toss Bank Group Account,’ allowing users to set the main account screen with a desired photo and leave comments on deposit/withdrawal records or card payment details to record dates, trips, anniversaries, and more.
The 'Joint Group Leader' feature, first introduced by Toss Bank in the banking sector for group accounts, is also available in the Couple Account. Both partners or spouses can be designated as joint group leaders to share withdrawal, transfer, card issuance, and payment permissions. Each can also issue their own card. Customers who already have a Toss Bank Group Account can easily switch by pressing ‘Change to Couple Account’ on the group account detail screen.
The benefits of the Couple Account are the same as those of the Group Account. It offers an annual interest rate of 2% (before tax) even for just one day of deposit, and cashback benefits applied to the Group Account are also provided. When using the card, if a payment of 10,000 KRW or more is made in the categories of ▲Dining (payments at restaurants or pubs between 7 PM and midnight) ▲Entertainment (karaoke, bowling alleys, billiard halls, golf courses, golf practice ranges, etc.) ▲Shopping (Emart, Emart Traders, Nonghyup Hanaro Mart/Club, etc.), 500 KRW per transaction is instantly refunded; for payments under 10,000 KRW, 100 KRW per transaction is refunded immediately.

A Toss Bank representative said, “We launched the Couple Account Service by adding couple-specific features such as account customization and comment posting to the joint group leader function of the Toss Bank Group Account,” and added, “We will continue to upgrade the service meaningfully so that it can be used for both fund management and sharing memories.”
