Boseong-gun Launches Joint Safety Inspections of Campsites During Vacation Season

Joint Inspection Involving County Office, Police Station, and Private Experts

Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it conducted safety inspections on nine camping sites within the jurisdiction in preparation for the peak summer vacation season.

As the number of camping site users is expected to increase during the summer vacation period, Boseong-gun plans to protect the safety of residents and tourists through safety inspections and to promote a healthy camping culture.

This inspection was carried out by a joint inspection team composed of public officials in charge of tourism, disaster and safety, women, water management, and living spaces (inspection of illegal filming devices), Boseong Police Station, and private experts.

The main inspection items included △ safety and hygiene management status of camping facilities (glamping) and camping trailers (caravans), △ compliance with camping site safety standards (fire prevention, electricity, gas usage), and △ presence of illegal filming devices in public facilities and the safety accident response system.

Based on the inspection results, necessary administrative measures such as requesting facility improvements from operators and management personnel will be implemented.

A Boseong-gun official said, “We will do our best to continuously conduct various fire and safety inspections to prevent safety accidents at camping sites so that campers can use the camping sites safely and enjoyably.”
