Passport Issuance Now Available at Changwon Uichang District Office!
Gyeongnam Province announced on the 2nd that passport issuance will also be available at Uichang District Office in Changwon Special City starting January next year.
According to Gyeongnam Province, with the recent increase in travel demand, passport issuance in the Gyeongnam area has surged, reaching approximately 191,000 cases as of the end of July this year.
This already surpasses last year's total issuance of about 128,000 cases, and with the vacation and holiday seasons, many people are applying for passports at once, causing some passport service agencies to have waiting times exceeding two hours just to submit applications.

Changwon City plans to start passport services at the Uichang District Office civil service center from January next year after expanding personnel and equipment.
