Jangseong-gun Recruiting for 'Basic Agriculture Course at Returning Farmers School' Until the 25th
Jangseong-gun Agricultural Technology Center in Jeollanam-do is recruiting students for the second half of the year’s Basic Agriculture Course at the Returning Farmers School until the 25th.
According to the county on the 2nd, the Basic Agriculture Course at the Returning Farmers School is a program where participants can systematically learn the knowledge and fundamentals of farming necessary for returning to agriculture, and it is highly popular among urban residents wishing to return to farming and beginner returning farmers.

Through basic agricultural literacy education, crop-specific cultivation experiences, and visits to leading farms, participants can solidify their farming fundamentals and reduce trial and error during the early stages of returning to farming.
This course will start on the 5th of next month and will be held twice a week for a total of 10 sessions. Each session lasts 4 hours.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Agricultural Technology Center in person or via email or fax.

In addition to the Basic Agriculture Course, the Jangseong-gun Agricultural Technology Center provides various supports such as successful returning farmer item training, on-site training for new farmers, and counseling for returning farmers.

A county official said, “Through meetings with experienced returning farmers and the provision of various educational opportunities, this will be a valuable time to acquire information necessary for the agricultural field,” and added, “We ask for active participation.”
