Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters Conducts Traditional Korean Medicine Volunteer Service for Local Residents
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters conducted a free traditional Korean medicine medical volunteer service for local senior citizens over three days starting from the 27th, in collaboration with the Department of Korean Medicine at Wonkwang University and the Yeongnam Hometown Association.

View original imageThe volunteer group consisted of 40 members from the Yeongnam Hometown Association, including professors, Korean medicine doctors, and students from Wonkwang University's Department of Korean Medicine, along with 10 employees from the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, totaling 50 participants who took part in providing free traditional Korean medical treatment.
The volunteer team set up a clinic at the gymnasium of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters staff housing in Jangan-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan, offering traditional Korean treatments such as acupuncture, moxibustion, and cupping therapy to approximately 300 local senior citizens. They also conducted individual consultations to provide customized medical services.
