The Korea Publication Industry Promotion Agency announced on the 31st that it will begin accepting applications for the "Employment Support Project for Export Specialists" to revitalize employment in the field of publishing exports. The deadline is October 25.

The project targets publishing companies and export agencies with fewer than 20 employees that hire new employees as full-time staff. It provides a total of 4.5 million KRW per employee, supporting 1.5 million KRW per month for three months. A total of 26 people will be selected, with up to three applicants allowed per company.
An official from the Publication Promotion Agency stated, "As interest and demand for Korean books (K-Book) increase and opportunities for copyright exports expand due to the related Korean Wave in publishing, we hope that the 'Employment Support Project for Export Specialists' will not only revitalize employment related to publishing exports but also enhance the competitiveness of publishing content for overseas expansion by improving the job skills of those working in publishing exports."
