Zepeto Helps Create Metaverse Items with Generative AI
Event Held to Assist Item Creation with Generative AI
Naver Z announced on the 31st that it will hold a generative artificial intelligence (AI) creation event called "Challenge! Zepeto Designer," where users can create items in Zepeto.
This event is conducted in collaboration with Recon Labs, a startup specializing in AI-based 3D content creation technology. By applying Recon Labs' 3D creation solution "3DPresso" to Zepeto, users without any experience in item production can easily create high-quality 3D items. 3DPresso is a solution trained on commercially usable data, which protects creators' rights and supports users' creative activities.
To participate, users select keywords such as desired patterns, colors, and concepts or input commands to extract item textures, which are then applied to item templates in Zepeto Studio. Thirty keyword and command input options are provided to allow each user to generate unique items. Items created through the creation tool can also be submitted with the hashtag #AIbiseo and registered as official items on the Zepeto platform. After an official review process, outstanding winning works will be uploaded to a separate AI category within the item shop.
