US Faces Multiple Deaths Amid Heatwave
In California, USA, where the heatwave continues day after day, a wild bear was captured on camera soaking in a residential swimming pool to escape the heat.
According to CNN on the 30th (local time), the Burbank Police Department in California received a report of a bear sighting in a residential area of Burbank Paseo Redondo around 3:30 p.m. on the 28th and responded to the scene.

In the related video, the bear was sitting in the cool water like a vacationer escaping the heat. However, as soon as the bear sensed the presence of the police officers, it immediately left the pool and disappeared into the forest behind the house.
The homeowner, Diana Lewis, explained, "I was upstairs in the house when I heard a strange noise," and "When I looked outside, the bear was having a good time." It is reported that there are about 25,000 to 30,000 black bears living in California.
Earlier, at the end of June last year, a tragic incident occurred in Tennessee, USA, where a black bear was found dead inside a parked car. At the time of discovery, the black bear was collapsed with its body stuck between the seats, and soda cans and food waste were scattered on the car floor. It appears the bear entered the car parked near a residential area in search of food.
The black bear used its teeth and front paws to open the unlocked car door and entered, but the door closed, trapping it inside. The bear suffocated inside the car, which had become extremely hot due to the heatwave.
Meanwhile, in the United States, deaths and damages continue to occur due to the heatwave that has lasted for over a month. Especially, the heat dome that has heated the southwestern region for more than a month has expanded to the northeastern region, putting almost the entire country under the influence of the heatwave.
