Kurly announced on the 31st that the 'Fragrant Golden Queen Rice Bowl,' co-developed with CJ CheilJedang, sold out its initial stock within three weeks of its launch.

View original imageThe Golden Queen Rice Bowl, launched exclusively by Kurly on the 6th, sold out all 7,000 sets (210g, pack of 6) prepared as the initial stock by the 30th, about three weeks after its release. During the same period, the Golden Queen Rice Bowl ranked 4th overall among more than 70 types of instant rice bowls sold on Kurly, gaining significant popularity.
Customer satisfaction was reported to be high. Kurly explained that many reviews included positive comments such as, "As soon as I heated it in the microwave, a savory aroma came out, which was amazing," "I was glad to experience this kind of taste in instant rice," and "It tastes like the nutty rice just before becoming scorched rice in a traditional Korean stone pot meal."
The Golden Queen Rice Bowl is made from the purely domestic variety 'Golden Queen No. 3.' Golden Queen No. 3 is a fragrant variety with a savory aroma reminiscent of freshly popped popcorn. Compared to regular instant rice, the Golden Queen Rice Bowl boasts superior flavor and stickiness, with a chewy texture as its advantage. Another feature is that the rice is cooked using rice milled within the same day, allowing consumers to enjoy its original taste and aroma.
Kurly decided to produce additional quantities of the Golden Queen Rice Bowl through consultation with CJ CheilJedang and resumed the second round of sales from this day. Since the Golden Queen Rice Bowl is selling faster than expected, Kurly plans to steadily increase supply to maintain stable sales.
