View original imageOn the 28th, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office formed a dedicated team to investigate Cho Seon, who was transferred to the prosecution, appointing Chief Prosecutor Kim Soo-min of the Criminal Division 3 as the team leader and deploying four prosecutors.
The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office stated, "We will thoroughly supplement the investigation of this case, which caused fear and anxiety among the public, to clearly determine whether it was a premeditated crime and the motive behind the crime, and we will do our best to ensure that the suspect receives punishment commensurate with the crime." They added, "We will carefully listen to the victims and their families and make every effort to support the victims."
Cho Seon is accused of wielding a weapon against unfamiliar men in their 20s and 30s near Exit 4 of Shillim Station on Seoul Subway Line 2 at 2:07 p.m. on the 21st of this month. As a result of this incident, one man in his 20s died and three men in their 30s were injured.

The police received Cho Seon's search records from a portal site and confirmed that he searched for terms such as 'Hong Kong random murder,' 'forced hospitalization in psychiatric hospital,' 'escape from psychiatric hospital,' and 'psychiatric hospital hospitalization costs' in early last month.
