Heat Wave Warnings Nationwide... Heavy Rain Advisory Issued for Namyangju
After the rainy season ended, heatwave warnings and heatwave advisories were issued for most parts of the country on the 27th, while a heavy rain advisory was issued for Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province.
The Korea Meteorological Administration announced at 5:20 PM that day that a heavy rain advisory would be in effect for Namyangju. A heavy rain advisory is issued when rainfall is expected to reach 60mm in 3 hours or 110mm in 12 hours. The forecasted precipitation is 10 to 60mm until night, with some areas expected to receive more than 80mm.
A wind wave advisory was issued for the outer southern sea of the West Sea, the outer eastern sea of the South Sea, the outer southern sea of Jeju Island, the inner southeastern sea of Jeju Island, and the inner southwestern sea of Jeju Island. A wind wave advisory is issued when wind speeds of 50.4 km/h (14 m/s) or higher persist for more than 3 hours at sea, or when significant wave heights are expected to be 3 meters or more.

Heatwave warnings have been issued for Gyeonggi Province (Gapyeong, Yongin, Icheon, Anseong, Yeoju, Gwangju, Yangpyeong), Gangwon Province (Gangneung Plain, Samcheok Plain, Wonju, Hongcheon Plain, Chuncheon), Chungcheongnam-do (Cheonan, Asan, Buyeo, Dangjin), Chungcheongbuk-do (Cheongju, Jincheon, Eumseong, Jeungpyeong), Jeollanam-do (Naju, Damyang, Gurye, Hwasun, Haenam), Jeollabuk-do (Wanju, Jeongeup, Jeonju), Gyeongsangbuk-do (Gumi, Yeongcheon, Gyeongsan, Gunwi, Cheongdo, Chilgok, Gimcheon, Sangju, Mungyeong, Yecheon, Andong, Uiseong, Pohang, Gyeongju), Gyeongsangnam-do (Yangsan, Changwon, Gimhae, Miryang, Uiryeong, Haman, Changnyeong, Hamyang, Hapcheon, Geoje), Jeju Island (Western Jeju, Northern Jeju, Eastern Jeju), Gwangju, Daegu, Ulsan, and Sejong.

The Korea Meteorological Administration also warned that due to unstable atmospheric conditions, localized heavy showers may occur until night, urging caution. In areas where showers occur, strong gusts of wind around 70 km/h (20 m/s) are also forecasted.
