Wemade Launches Transparent Society Platform 'WePublic' Service
Wemade has launched the official service of the transparent society platform 'WePublic' on the 27th.
WePublic is a platform that utilizes blockchain technology to transparently operate and manage everything from the formation of a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) to all its activities. It incorporates core verification protocols such as ▲Decentralized Identity (DID) ▲Soulbound Token (SBT) ▲Balance Proof (Mirror Token). A governance program featuring a 'Result Proof Protocol' for proposal submissions and voting will be added in the future.
They also introduced the virtual asset wallet application 'WePublic Wallet,' which can be used with WePublic. It is implemented with decentralized identity verification technology (DID) that encrypts personal information to prove users without disclosing their data.
Users can easily verify their identity and join a DAO using the QR code provided by the WePublic Wallet. Upon completion of registration, an 'SBT (Soulbound Token)' that certifies membership is issued. The SBT is an immutable membership NFT (Non-Fungible Token) ID card containing information about the user's role and rank within the organization.
Additionally, WePublic allows anyone to transparently track the use of funds such as sponsorships and donations within a DAO. A 'Mirror Token' is issued through the balance proof protocol, which is linked one-to-one with the DAO's actual bank account, and the token's deposit and withdrawal times, execution details, and quantities are recorded in real time on the blockchain.
