Sahakyeongeum Donates Funds to Overcome Heavy Rain Damage
The Private School Teachers' Pension Service (hereinafter referred to as PSTPS) recently announced on the 27th that it delivered a social contribution fund of 5.04 million KRW, voluntarily deducted from the salaries of its executives and employees, to the heavy rain-affected areas through Naju City Hall and the Community Chest of Korea to support disaster victims and early recovery of the affected regions.
Song Hajung, Chairman of PSTPS, said, "I hope that the donation collected with one heart and one mind from our executives and employees will be of some help to the victims affected by the heavy rain." He added, "We will continue to fulfill our social responsibilities as a public institution and promote social contribution activities to help the local community recover from the damage."

Meanwhile, PSTPS has been operating the social contribution fund, created through voluntary donations from its executives and employees, for the fourth year this year. It has delivered donations to socially vulnerable groups affected by COVID-19, supported emergency relief supplies, provided pear juice to university medical staff by purchasing local specialties from Naju, jointly supported scholarships for nurturing local talent, and supplied bottled water to help Naju City overcome drought.
