On the 26th, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced on the 27th that it held a DMZ promotional fam tour for 27 participants, including those responsible for developing inbound travel products and tourist interpreters, visiting Imjingak Peace Gondola, Camp Greaves, Dokgae Bridge, and more.
They toured tourist sites within the Imjingak Peace Nuri area, such as the Imjingak Peace Gondola, Camp Greaves Exhibition Hall, and Dokgae Bridge, and explored related content including the National Korean War POW Memorial Hall, Odusan Unification Observatory, and Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang.
A representative from the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization stated, "To attract Japanese tourists, who have recently shown signs of recovery, we will actively develop DMZ visit products in close cooperation with key overseas travel agencies, OTAs, and the Korea Tourism Organization, while providing high-quality interpretation services to enhance visitor satisfaction through demand-tailored marketing."

Gyeonggi Province is conducting the 'DMZ Open Festival' starting with a peace walk event on May 20th this year, marking the 70th anniversary of the armistice. Various events such as performances, exhibitions, academic conferences, and sports will be held until November to promote the ecological, peace, and historical values of the Demilitarized Zone.
