"Not a Gold Digger"... Female Passenger Demands Taxi Driver to Touch Her Body
Police Considering Charges of Forced Indecent Assault
The police have identified the female passenger who demanded a taxi driver in Yeosu, Jeonnam, to touch her leg and have launched an investigation.
According to the Yeosu Police Station in Jeonnam on the 26th, taxi driver A filed a complaint with the police on the 17th, claiming he was sexually harassed by a female passenger.
A picked up a female passenger in Hakdong, Yeosu-si, Jeonnam, at around 1:30 a.m. on May 24.
The passenger, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, suddenly demanded that he turn off the black box while on the way to the destination. A refused, saying he could not turn off the black box arbitrarily, and struggled with the passenger who kept asking to turn it off.
Upon arriving at the destination, the passenger made an absurd demand to have her body touched. When A refused, she grabbed his arm and pulled him toward her thigh.
The passenger insisted, "I'm not a gold digger," and continued to demand to be touched, but eventually got off after A persuaded her.
A later filed a complaint along with the black box footage capturing the incident.
