"Helping Customers Make Wise Choices"
Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 26th that Kim Gi-yang, Sales Director of the Daejeon branch (56), achieved cumulative sales of 6,000 units as of the close on the 5th. This is a record achieved by only seven people since the operation of the sales honor reward system.
This system awards titles and prizes upon reaching cumulative sales milestones: ‘Sales Artisan’ at 2,000 units, ‘Sales Master’ at 3,000 units, ‘Sales Expert’ at 4,000 units, and ‘Sales Grandmaster’ at 5,000 units.

Sales Director Kim joined Hyundai Motor Company in 1991 and achieved this great record after 32 years. He had already earned the title of ‘Sales Grandmaster’ in March 2021 upon reaching cumulative sales of 5,000 units.
Kim cited professionalism as his secret to sales success. He said, “Helping customers make wise choices is the core of sales and the shortcut to customer satisfaction,” adding, “My unique sales secret was recommending vehicles that matched the customer’s preferences and circumstances, rather than simply selling good cars, expensive cars, or new cars.”
He continued, “The trust each customer has given me was the driving force that allowed me to work,” and expressed his determination, saying, “I will work even harder to repay the trust I have received so far.”
