Head Choi introduced county-level support projects as well as support projects from four corporate-related institutions including the Jeonbuk Small and Medium Venture Business Administration and the Economic and Trade Promotion Agency, to help overcome difficulties caused by recent trade disputes and minimum wage increases.
He also plans to gather the difficulties faced by companies and prepare measures that can benefit companies, such as easing the requirements for support projects.
At the meeting, labor shortage was identified as the top difficulty, and the county announced plans to invest about 7 billion KRW to build dormitories for young workers linked to companies, which received great support from the businesspersons.
Choi Young-il, head of the county, said, “We will continue to actively seek support measures for the development of companies located in the agricultural and industrial complexes as well as individual sites,” and added, “We will create a business-friendly Sunchang by continuously establishing channels to communicate with businesspersons.”
