Kakao Games 'Ares' Launch D-1, Pre-Download Begins
Kakao Games announced on the 24th that it will begin pre-downloads for 'Ares: Rise of Guardians.'
Users can download the mobile game app for 'Ares' from Google Play and the Apple App Store starting at 11 a.m. on the same day, and the PC client from the official website.
Unlike previous games, the pre-download of 'Ares' allows users to access the game after installation. Users can create characters with various appearances in advance and immediately enjoy game content after the official service begins on July 25.
'Ares' is a cross-platform blockbuster MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) developed by SecondDive, founded by CEO Ban Seung-cheol of the 'Dark Avenger' series, which has recorded over 100 million downloads worldwide, combining years of action RPG development expertise.
Since the start of pre-registration, over 2 million users have participated. Due to high demand for pre-reserving character names, additional 'Worlds (server groups)' allowing pre-reservation of character names were opened.
